I really wanna set it to Japanese when I switch it on now. I only know about fifty kanji though and I bet it uses every kanji except the ones I know.

Yup, hit the little DS at the bottom of the main screen go into settings (the spanner) and then to change language (the globe) and there you will find all the language choices you will ever want. unless you speak cat.

Also, can you change the language on your DS after the initial set-me-up-dammit thing? Because if you can mine's gonna be Japanese. And if you can't it'll probably still be Japanese but I'd like to know that I could abandon ship at any time if I wanted to.

Awww. Thank you!!! It's just that I look through DA and see all the people that are basically masters on here on it makes you feel inferior. But on the otherside it makes you want to be like them and practise makes perfect.
Yeah... I was here half an hour ago, at Ollie's bored and I thought, well I'm sick of my "Childish" drawings so I'll give up on the girl I'm drawing and try something else. I don't want to say what I'm attempting because it will most likely be a complete failure but it is quite the change. And scary. Very scary. I'll keep you updated if I have anything of the drawing tonight.

You really should carry on drawing, you've got tallent more than most. A bit of style experimentation might do you some good. Find out what you really want to do. As my can of relentless says... suffer for your art it'll be worth it
